Good Morning All! Sophia arrived yesterday afternoon at 5:57 pm. She weighed 3 pounds 1 ounce and is 14 inches long with a head full of curly hair. She's doing so good and is such a fighter. At first she was on 30% oxygen but by the time she got to the NICU she was taken off the oxygen is is breathing all on her own. She's keeping her body temp up on her own and has just surprised us all at how well she's doing. She is absolutely perfect!!!!

Her arms and hands are as we expected but she's beautiful in every possible way. On her right hand she has one finger, on the left she has two, and her arms are shortened. She doesnt like to be messed with and already has an attitude!LOL - I just love her to pieces.

I havent had the chance to hold her yet but her daddy did and he stayed in he NICU by her side all night long. Another woman has stolen his heart from me!! The -section went great but DH almost passed out right before so my mom was in with me. Right now I"m in my room getting ready to go see Sophia. Today she'll get an xray on her little body and an echo to check on her heart. So far things are going much better than expected!
