Well my first prenatal appointment was today and I was finally able to see my baby. The heart beat was 180 bpm and the baby measured at 9 weeks 1 day. Based on my last menstrual cycle I'm 9 weeks 5 days so not enough difference to change the due date. The nurse told me there is a good chance we are having a girl since the heart rate was so high. That just made me even more excited because after two boys I am really wanting a girl. The baby starting moving during the scan which was very exciting. My husband and my 6 year old son were in the room with me and my son was just too excited. It was so cute watching his face as he looked at the baby. The first thing I looked for was the heart beating! Due to my miscarriage last year I go back in two weeks for another scan but doc says everything looks wonderful. Baby measured perfect and the heart rate was strong. My husband said seeing the baby made it all real for him and that he immediately fell in love. Awwww...... so sweet!!!!
